So, with November here, the days seem so short as the clocks have gone back, the light is already fading at four o’clock. We’ll I hope you have managed to get some fungi shots, there are still some about if you didn’t. It’s also been the time for the leaves changing colour, I’m not sure that it has been so spectacular as other years, with the weather being so mild, you might be lucky to still find a few trees not totally bare their leaves hanging on for that final big gust of wind to blow them off.

On a plus side you don’t need to get up so early if you’re looking to get some sun rise images, being out at 6.30 am instead of 3.30 am, enjoying the extra time for a lay-in.

With the dark evening upon us, it’s now is the time to start sifting through all your images, looking for what you might use for the competitions that are coming up, or you might want to try some still life, I know David’s skull (not the one inside his head) is probably going to be busy in the coming weeks, partnering up with some random fruit…have a good month, see you at the club.
