Where We Meet
We meet at the Netball Centre, Rainham School for Girls in Gillingham, Medway, North Kent. Meetings run on most Thursdays from 7.30 pm to 9.45 pm and we have access from 7.00 pm to set up any equipment for the evening. The room has all the facilities that we require and very importantly, car parking is available. The tea urn is constantly on the go!
To reach Netball Centre
There are four directions in which you can drive to our meeting room:
- Through the Medway Tunnel when travelling from the west. That is, from the London direction. Turn left on to the A289 just before reaching the M2. Drive through the Medway tunnel and continue on to the A2. When you reach the Will Adams roundabout take the first exit on to Sovereign Blvd/A2 towards Rainham. Drive straight over the next roundabout (Tesco). In approximately one mile, after a set of traffic lights, filter right to turn into Sailsbury Avenue. Follow to the end of this road and turn right into Derwent Way. The School entrance is directly ahead. Follow the school road left then right and we are the last building on the left hand side.
- From the M2 Junction 4. From Junction 4 follow the A278 Hoath Way to the A2. When you reach the Tesco roundabout turn right on to the A2 towards Rainham. after which you should proceed as described in paragraph 1 above.
- For Local Area Members From Strood, Rochester, or Chatham take the A2 up Chatham Hill driving towards Rainham. Keep driving straight ahead until you reach the Will Adams roundabout, after which you should proceed as described in paragraph 1 above.
- For Local Area Members From Sittingbourne and Rainham take the A2 towards Gillingham. When you leave Rainham (driving past the Hidsons Kia / Seat garages, take the third left into Sailsbury Avenue, after which you should proceed as described in paragraph 1 above.

The programme for the year is displayed on the Current programme page. There you can select an evening to pop along for a chat – as the club does not meet every week of the year.
